One more City Shining BLUE in September! I think it was suppose to read August.

Linda – Attached is our 2016 Proclamation. It was read by our Mayor at our September 25th City Council Meeting. We have our Veterans Memorial and City Hall building lit up in blue. With have blue ribbons on light poles on the main street and on the trees in from of City Hall.

Today we received the Department of Veterans Affairs of Appreciation. For our advocacy in raising awareness for prostate cancer. It was a huge honor to have Heather Harris Bishoff come out with her busy schedule. . It has been a while since we met and talked about the support we have gotten from around Ohio. Social media is the best, one tweet a few years ago and a tweet back to call her office was so rewarding in so many ways. 

She has her own Petey family in her office too!

I have something planned for September 28, 2016 and I got a phone call from Congresswoman Beatty's office in Washington, DC. It has been confirmed and will happen. Thank you Heather for your help and support.
