Support Prostate Cancer Awareness in September and light the White House BLUE!
Prostate Cancer words that are very seldom spoken in public! But for families living with prostate cancer we can speak about our Journeys. The Good, Bad and the Ugly! Statics show that 1 in 6 men as with 1 in 3 African American men will be diagnosed in their lifetime. in 2013 about 238,590 new cases of prostate cancer was diagnosed, about 29,720 will lose their battle 1 in 36 men. Of the men who are 65 and older, 6 in 10 cases are diagnosed and it is rare before age 40. The average age of being diagnosed is 67. Not all men diagnosed with prostate cancer will die from it in fact 2.5 million men in the United State are still alive today!
We need the White House to be part of our journey and support our efforts to raise awareness for Prostate Cancer.
