I’m asking for your help Ohio. Our license plate bill was signed by Governor DeWine on October 22, 2020, and now we need 150 supporting signatures. Sadly men in the military are 50% more likely to be diagnosed with prostate cancer from the chemicals and herbicides that they are exposed to. Agent Orange is the highest risk. There are 7,030 men in Ohio with a prostate cancer diagnosis.
On June 19, 2009, my husband was diagnosed with an aggressive form of prostate cancer. He was a firefighter for 4 years and then cross-trained into weather where he was around radar equipment for 16 years. His chances of being diagnosed were 1 in 3.
Funds from the ZERO The End Of Prostate Cancer license would stay in Ohio to provide free patient navigation services to reduce financial toxicity among prostate cancer and free transportation for prostate cancer patients to doctor appointments.
Subject: Petition To Establish ZERO The End Of Prostate Cancer License Plates
