Proclamation Team 2020

September is National Prostate Cancer Awareness Month. Sadly many people did not know that prostate cancer did not have a specific month for awareness. In 2013, I wanted to change that and started contacting the elected officials in Ohio asking for a Proclamation or Resolution to support their residents in their community. I have had some Mayors who have supported my mission yearly!

If you want to join helping raise awareness in your community here is a link of what the Proclamation Team is!  I will provide you with the Whereas statements for the Proclamation or Resolution or if the elected official has their own Whereas statements they are more than welcome to use their own. Sometimes you may be asked to attend a city Council meeting for the reading and presentation of the Proclamation. Before the meeting you may be asked if you would like to say a few works.
