Sleep is not on my side!! :-( Today is the day that Ray became a Survivor of Prostate Cancer 4 years ago. The day was long as with the Pre-admission, Admission, Prep for surgery and then the long wait during the operation. I was so glad to have Ryan Hoetger and Kyle Hoetger in the waiting room with me. And HUGE Thank you for Miss Christine Novak-Ray who came to the hospital and waited with me and we talked about the Good Old days at East Columbus Elementary. As Ray was Mr. Homework!
Yes Ray has the cancer inside him but is what others do not understand is that this disease is a Couple's disease and not just an Old Man's disease. Ray was only 56 when he was diagnosed!
