Fans for the Cure

   Dear Linda:

On behalf of Ed Randall’s Fans for the Cure, thank you for your support of Ed Randall’s Fans for the Cure 8th Annual Baseball Road Trip in Columbus. Your time and generosity of spirit to help supervise our information table is appreciated beyond words.

The success of our minor league initiative to promote our twin gospels of prostate cancer awareness and the life-saving value of early detection would have been impossible without your kindness and generosity of spirit.

Think of yourself as a partner in our mission and your support as an investment in saving lives.

I hope you enjoy this holiday season and that we can count on your continued support next year.

Again, my great thanks!

Best wishes,
Ed Randall

Mayor's Proclamation

I started this Mission to have all the City Mayor's or Village Manager's in Ohio to have a Proclamation for Prostate Cancer Awareness Month in September. I send out an email with a personal letter that I had written up on why I am wanting to get every City on board. So far there have been 5 Cities who have written one. I requested this map from Ohio and what I want to do is put a pin or some other way of marking all the Cities who are participating. I have a couple of Cities who said to contact them in 2015 and they will consider it.

Glenn's Q&A

It is now time for the Glenn Q&A session with Bryan Smith, GRC, Director of Space Flight Systems and Tim Tyburski, GRC Orion Project Office. I learned so much and got even more excited to watch the Launch of Orion.

Thank you #NASASocial and #NASAglenn for a wonderful Experience at NASA Glenn Research Center. I hope to return one day for another tour!

Kennedy Space Center Live Broadcast

Now it is tiem for the Kennedy Space Center Live Broadcast with all the Satellite #NASASocial sites and ask Questions.

OK can you say she really fits into the Realm of Out of This World!

Lunch and Exchange Store

After the tours of NASA Glenn Research Center it was time for Lunch and then a trip to the Exchange Store. I wish that the tours were longer as I enjoyed myself so much.

MIC Building - Energy Compliant Building

In the MIC Building it is Energy Compliant. This a really cool Light Design!
We are standing on the main floor of the building and looking up you can see a Sky light to the 3rd Floor.
Now we are on the 3rd floor looking down!

This is the light up close you can see the LED's that makes up the light. Unfortunately it was not working when we were there. I said we need to be invited back when it is working, The others with the #NASASocial Media Tours agreed with me.
I would love to see it working!

This was outside the 3rd Floor.

3D CAVE Environment/ Graphics Visualization Lab

This was cool to play around with. When the metal object is placed on the square the heat form the temperature in the metal show where the temperature changed. It first started with one circle and then another person added one more circle. Then a ( was added and so it turned into a Smiley face!

3D CAVE Environment/Graphics Visualization Lab

This was Awesome to see this! In here the images are projected onto the wall in 3D. They show us how they worked on the insides of a rocket virtually.

Integrated Radio Optical Communications (iROC) Satellite Project

This was the second room on the tour of NASA Glenn Research Center, We had to put on the blue lab coats as it was a clean room. It was really great to be able to see were Space is being studied and also see so many things up close. It was so amazing to also know that this is all done in Cleveland, Ohio.

Ray in his lab coat!
This is right as you walk into the room.

So many great questions asked!
