In early March, the House Appropriations Committee introduced the final version of the fiscal year 2017 Defense Appropriations bill, which includes $90M for the Department of Defense’s PCRP – that’s a a $10M increase, the first such increase to the program in over a decade!
My husband and I was in Washington DC at this time as we we leaving Capitol Hill after a long day of lobbying. We met with Representatives from Ohio sharing our Journey of prostate cancer with them. And I will be there again on the Hill in 2018 sharing my Journey as a caregiver of prostate cancer.
